(Özel) Belediye başkan adayı, ölüm tehditleri alarak korkutuldu

Edremit Belediye Başkanı adayı Aydın Zımba, tehdit edildiğini iddia ederek savcılığa başvurdu. Zımba, tehditlerin sosyal medyadan ve telefonla geldiğini belirterek, bu durumun kendisini daha da hırslandırdığını ve adaylık sürecinden vazgeçmeyeceğini söyledi. Savcılığa suç duyurusunda bulunan Zımba, sorumluların açıklanmasını bekliyor. Güzel Parti'den aday olan Zımba, Roman camiasının ön plana çıkması için bu yarışa katıldığını ifade etti.

Edremit, a district of Balıkesir, has witnessed a threatening incident as Aydın Zımba, the candidate for the Beautiful Party for the Edremit Municipality, claims to have received death threats and lodged a complaint with the prosecution.
While candidates from various parties continue their election campaigns for the position of mayor in Edremit, Aydın Zımba, the candidate of the Beautiful Party, allegedly faced death threats to withdraw his candidacy.
Zımba evaluated the situation and stated, “Our party leader wanted me to be a candidate. I became a candidate to achieve something and bring attention to the Roma community.
After the announcement of my candidacy, I started receiving threats. Immediately after that, someone started threatening me on social media. We didn’t pay attention to it and reported it to the prosecution.”
Following the threats on social media, Zımba claimed to have received death threats over the phone. He said, “However, two days ago, two individuals, using two different phone numbers, sent death messages, threats to burn down our place, and threats to burn down our house via Telegram. But despite the threats, I won’t withdraw from this election race. It has actually motivated us even more. Even if I have to go through this candidacy process alone, I will. These friends have encouraged us even more. We thank them. We have already filed a lawsuit yesterday. We have made a criminal complaint to the prosecution, and they should disclose themselves now.”
